For Schools and Universities
Youth Change Makers is the social leadership and volunteer program of TECHO US Clubs, designed for US High School and University students throughout the academic year.
Rooted in TECHO’s mission to overcome poverty in Latin America through community-led action, the program empowers students to become civic leaders, critical thinkers, and global citizens. Students embark on a transformative journey that combines learning, local action, global representation, and a capstone immersion trip, bridging their academic experience with real-world impact.
Our partnerships raise awareness and funds to fight housing inequality in Latin America.
With active collaborations in Florida, Texas, California, New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina, and growing every year, there’s a place for every student, educator, and administrator to join.
Let’s build something meaningful, together.
At TECHO, we’re proud to partner with high schools and universities across the United States to engage students in meaningful, hands-on opportunities for social impact. Through these collaborations, young people become active agents of change in the fight against poverty in Latin America.
Our partnerships take many forms, from Thanksgiving and Winter Break Building Trips, to TECHO Experiences, to the creation of TECHO Clubs on campus. These student-led groups raise awareness and funds throughout the academic year, helping bring visibility to housing inequality and supporting tangible solutions on the ground.
