Porsche has involved 4,898 volunteers of the company to build 514 emergency homes in seventeen countries where TECHO works. It also sponsors an auto-mechanics training program for slum residents in six countries.
DHL has been working with TECHO since 2010. In April 2014, the firm was an official sponsor of the Milestone 100,000 Stories campaign, commemorating the construction of TECHO’s 100,000th emergency home. On that occasion, DHL contributed with 109 emergency homes, and the company’s employees were key volunteers in carrying out the activities.
Since 2012, TECHO has been one of Bank of America’s most important corporate responsibility allies in Latin America. In total, Bank of America has contributed 28 emergency homes, built by 310 employee volunteers from six countries in the region.
